TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF CROSS-BRED
DAIRY COWS TO ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND VETERINARY
DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF MIZORAM UNDER THE SCHEME
NEW LAND USE POLICY (NLUP)
1. The Cross-Bred Dairy Cows should be of Holstein Friesien or Jersey Cross Breed.
2. The Dairy Cows Should be in 1st or 2nd lactation.
3. The average milk yield per day should be not less than 20 litres per day.
4. The animals should be vaccinated against FMD, and should be supported by Vaccination certificate
duly signed by competent authority.
5. The animals should be duly examine and soundness certificate issued by competent aithority
appointed by Government of Mizoram before being transported to Mizoram.
6. Rate should be quoted in Indian Rupees both in words and figure on per animal basis.
7. The quotation should be FOR Aizawl with arrangement for transit insurance, permits etc. to be
arranged and borned by the supplier.
8. Care and feeding of animals should be the responsibility of the supplier untill the animals reaches
its destination.
9. Animals will be examined by competent authority to be appointed by Govenment of Mizoram on
arrival and only animals fit for breeding will be accepted.
10. Disposal of carcass and expenditure involved in case of death of animals on transit wil be the
responsibility of the supplier.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject all or any tenders without assigning the reason.
12. The undersigned is not bound to accept the lowest bidder.
13. In case of any litigation and dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be Aizawl, Mizoram only.
